Nestled in the heart of Kerikeri, in the stunning Bay of Islands, The Parrot Place is more than just a Bird Display and Breeding Centre — it’s a unique adventure for all ages! We’re home to around 300 incredible birds from all corners of the world, proudly showcasing a vibrant range of exotic parrots. Our successful breeding and rearing programs have allowed us to create a haven where bird enthusiasts and families alike can experience these amazing creatures up close.

- Bird Encounters: Our daily interactive bird encounters give you the chance to get up close with our exotic parrots have a hold, feed and learn all about them.
- Breeding & Rearing Programs: The Parrot Place is dedicated to the preservation of our exotic species in NZ, with our breeding programs focused on welcoming the next healthy generation of exotic parrots in NZ to support the NZ populations of parrots. Learn about the role we play in helping these amazing animals at our park.
